If nature is too complicated to be mimicked

A new HFSP grant tries to understand the unique materials and structures that compose shark and ray skeletons. The grant brings together a unique team of scientists from Germany (Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam and the Zuse Institute Berlin) and the United States (Center for Life Science at Harvard University’s Wyss Institute).

More information on the project and the team members is available here.
