HFSP is saddened by the news that Tony Pawson, of the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at the Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto, Canada) passed away this month. Tony was a two-time HFSP grant recipient and from 1993 to 2008 has hosted several HFSP Long-Term Fellows in his laboratory. HFSP and the entire scientific community have lost an outstanding researcher and colleague. We want to express our sincere condolences to his family.
