Presentations & Programme

Eligible awardees should have received an invitation to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. If you did not receive an invitation and you are eligible to attend the meeting then please contact toronto@hfsp.org for an abstract form.

Oral presentations
Oral presentations will be selected by the Programme Committee from the abstracts submitted. In the case of Research Grants, talks will be selected from abstracts with all team members as co-authors that reflect the aims of the collaborative project as a whole. One member of the team (usually the coordinator) should present the work of the team as a whole.  Talks will be allocated fifteen minutes plus five minutes for discussion. The Programme Committee will also select a number of poster presenters to give a three minute introductory talk prior to the poster session. You should remember that you will be speaking to a very mixed group of researchers, so please make sure that your presentation is readily understandable to a general, non-specialist scientific audience.

Poster presentations
Long-Term and Cross-Disciplinary Fellows are expected to present their work. Please bear in mind the following when preparing your posters:
