Social Programme 2018

Evening events are organised for meeting participants on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.

The Round Room at The Carlu

The welcome reception will take place at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning. It is a great occasion to meet fellow HFSP awardees and to catch up with old friends over drinks and canapés.

Reception at Hart House hosted by The University of Toronto

Monday, 9 July, 7:30 pm

Guests are invited to a dinner reception in this historic landmark of the University of Toronto. Hart House is a cultural centre that was built in the early 20th century in the Gothic-revival style.

Farewell reception at The Carlu

Wednesday, 11 July, 7:30 pm

The farewell dinner will be served in the magnificent art deco Round Room of The Carlu, a downtown events venue, which has been designated a National Historic Site. Following dinner, guests can continue to mingle and network in the Sky Room, where dessert and coffee will be served and the bar will remain open until 11:00 pm.

Accompanying person fee: 50 EUR (no charge for children under 16)

Breakfasts & Lunches

A light breakfast and lunch will be served on Monday - Wednesday at the meeting venue. Breakfast will be available from 8:00 am.
