Earlier this year, the European Medicines Agency approved the use of a new anti-cancer drug, Erivedge, developed by Genentech in collaboration with the Cambridge (Mass) based biotech company Curis Inc, for the treatment of Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), the most common cancer amongst Caucasians.
