HFSP Matters - Issue 8

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to send you the eighth issue of "HFSP Matters", the newsletter from the Human Frontier Science Program Organization. This issue brings more exciting science from our awardees and we report on bioinspired robotic insects and on how advanced microscopy is key to understanding malaria parasites. You can also read about the early days of HFSPO as Toichi Sakata, member of the HFSPO Board of Trustees, shares his personal memories of the setting up of the Program in the late 1980s.

If you can think of interesting items that matter to the HFSP community or if you want to contribute by writing an article for a future issue, please let us know. You can download the newsletter here.

I hope that you enjoy reading HFSP Matters and look forward to your feedback.

Yours sincerely,

Guntram Bauer
Director of Scientific Affairs and Communications
Human Frontier Science Program Organization
