a. HFSP Alumni Network:

We are keen to stimulate meetings of HFSP alumni and to form an international alumni network. We will start this year with meetings in Canada and Japan:

- A meeting of HFSP alumni from Eastern Canada will take place in Montreal on July 29, 2010.
- A meeting of HFSP alumni from Japan will take place in Tokyo October 9, 2010.

We are also redeveloping the HFSP web site to include an alumni section - more information will be available towards the end of the year.

b. HFSP would like to encourage current and former awardees to get together to form local or regional alumni groups. Do you already have meetings with other HFSP awardees? If so, please let us know at alumni@hfsp.org.

c. See the "Hot off the Press" rubric on the HFSP web site at www.hfsp.org for recent papers published by HFSP awardees
