The interface and navigation structure have been redesigned to make it easier to find the information you need.

HFSP Alumni have their own section.

2. IMPORTANT!!! New HFSP Newsletter - sign up now!!!!

This will be the last newsletter sent via the cru.fr site! With the new HFSP web site now in action, we are terminating this newsletter. Unfortunately we have no way of transferring our current subscriber list. If you would like to continue to receive occasional information of calls for applications, updates to the web site and HFSP news, please go to the new HFSP web site and click on "Subscribe to our newsletter" in the top right-hand corner.

3. HFSP Awardees and Alumni section

a. Join the HFSP Alumni section of the new HFSP website:

HFSP Alumni (i.e. all current and former grant, fellowship and CDA awardees, members of the HFSP review committees, Council of Scientists and Board of Trustees) are invited to sign up for the new Alumni section at http://www.hfsp.org/alumni. The aim is to create a network of scientists who have been involved in the HFSP programs. It allows you to set up a personal profile with your contact info, research interests and techniques that you use. We hope this will become a valuable resource for those who wish to find new collaborators or to make contact with members of the HFSP community in their city or country.

When you sign up, we will verify that you are in our database and then open the site for you.

b. The next HFSP Alumni Meeting will be held at the IMP in Vienna on September 9th just before the EMBO Meeting. It will be open to the Austrian alumni and to participants at the EMBO Meeting. We will send more details shortly.

c. HFSP would like to encourage current and former awardees to get together to form local or regional alumni groups. Do you already have meetings with other HFSP awardees? If so, please let us know at alumni@hfsp.org. Are you planning to attend the 2011 HFSP Awardees Meeting in Montreal? If so, make sure you sign up for the alumni section of the new web site. In the discussion forum you can make contact with other participants to arrange travel or accommodation sharing.

e. Are you a member of LinkedIn? If so, you may add other HFSP awardees to your LinkedIn network by joining the HFSP group. This is open to all current and former awardees, review committee members, members of the Council of Scientists, Board of Trustees and the Secretariat. To join please go to http://linkd.in/h4SJ9x.
