The Bethesda meeting was held at the National Institutes of Health, Natcher Conference Center. All Long-Term Fellows, Young Investigators and Career Development Award holders were invited, as well as Program Grants awardees awarded in 2002. In all there were 146 scientific presentations as talks or posters and a total of 195 registered participants.
