HFSP to support New Frontiers in Developmental Biology meeting

New Frontiers in Developmental Biology – Celebrating the Diversity of Life, Strasbourg, France - 7 to 10 November 2022

The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) will support the 3rd Franco-Japanese Developmental Biology Conference, a unique scientific gathering of the French and Japanese Societies for Developmental Biology (SFBD &  JSDB), taking place from 7 to 10 November 2022 in Strasbourg, France. HFSP welcomes this opportunity to partner with both scientific societies in jointly organising a frontier science meeting. Among the 13 keynote and invited speakers, six are current or former HFSP awardees.

The topic of the 2022 edition of this bilaterally organized but international meeting is: “New Frontiers in Developmental Biology – Celebrating the Diversity of Life”. The meeting will feature scientific talks by leading scientists in the field, poster presentations and outreach activities engaging with the general public and school children.

HFSP promotes innovative, cutting-edge research at the frontiers of the life sciences ‘in the spirit of science without borders and for the benefit of humankind’. Supporting the meeting on New Frontiers in Developmental Biology is a core value of HFSP’s scientific mission and our participation in this meeting will help to disseminate the outcomes of such research to a much wider audience.
