Strasbourg, France - 2013

The 13th HFSP Awardees Meeting was held in Strasbourg, France from 7 - 10 July, 2013

For the first time, the Awardees Meeting was held in Strasbourg where the HFSPO Secretariat is based.

The scientific sessions took place at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès.  All Long-Term and Cross-Disciplinary Fellows, Young Investigator and Program Grant holders, Career Development Awardees and local HFSP alumni were invited.  In all there were 26 oral presentations and 104 poster presentations.  241 guests attended including scientists from the University of Strasbourg and other local institutions.

The generous contributions from the French Ministry of Research and Higher Education, the town of Strasbourg (Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg) and the Region of Alsace (Région Alsace) helped to make this an enjoyable and memorable meeting for all participants.
