Adrian Mota Elected HFSPO Treasurer and Board-Steering Committee Member

He visited the HFSPO Secretariat in Strasbourg to discuss strategic priorities.

Adrian Mota, Associate Vice-President, Research Programs - Operations at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), has been elected by the HFSPO Board of Trustees as the new HFSPO Treasurer and a member of the HFSPO Board-Steering Committee, effective 1 January 2025. He succeeds Mark Palmer (UK - UKRI/MRC) in these roles.

As the Canada HFSPO Trustee since 2019, Adrian brings valuable experience and insights to his new responsibilities. This week, he visited the HFSPO Secretariat in Strasbourg, France, where he met with HFSPO Secretary-General Pavel Kabat and secretariat colleagues to discuss the strategic and operational aspects of HFSPO's financial framework and budgeting.

We warmly welcome Adrian to his new role and thank him for his commitment to advancing the mission of HFSPO.
