Former HFSP fellow will lead EMBL

We would like to congratulate Edith Heard for being named the fifth Director General of the Heidelberg based EMBL.

Edith Heard is leading the unit of Genetics and Developmental Biology at Institut Curie and is faculty at the Collège de France. Edith was among the very first cohort of HFSP fellows back in 1990 and was the PI on a 2003 HFSP Program Grant.
