In 2022, the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO) launched the Scientists for Scientists Initiative (S4S) to help Ukrainian researchers affected by the war to continue their research in host institutions around the world. Since then HFSPO has supported proposals from 14 Ukrainian scientists and created placements abroad in the laboratories and institutes of active HFSPO awardees.
This initiative is supported by the European Commission.
